Grilled chicken is such a delicious and healthy food, it is very high in protein and it can be prepared in almost no time at all. It really is so quick and easy to make grilled chicken. Poultry like chicken and turkey is a really great way to cut down on fat and have a high protein healthy food.
To prepare grilled chicken all you need is a few ingredients. A few pieces of thinly sliced chicken cutlets. Or you can use boneless skinless chicken breasts and just pound them down with a meat pounder.
So you take your chicken and add the chicken to a large ziploc bag. Now toss in the ziploc bag your favorite marinade with the chicken. Then try and remove most of the air from the ziploc bag and close. You do this so that the meat absorbs the marinade.
Take the ziploc bag with the chicken and marinade and refrigerate. You can refrigerate the chicken for up to four hours or overnight. The meat will tenderize and absorb the flavors.
What you do now is take the chicken out of the fridge. And allow the chicken to come to room temperature before cooking.
What you can do now is either broil the chicken in the broiler. Or you can grill the chicken in a grill pan on both sides till brown and crispy. You can grill the meat on the BBQ. Just don't fry the chicken we want to avoid using fat and by doing so we are keeping the chicken healthy. The chicken will cook easily and fast because it is so thin.
