Since things are tight for most people right now we can all use more ways to save money. If you shop online there are many websites you should know about.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

First sign up for mypoints.com. They give you up to 10 points per dollar for shopping at places like Target, Overstock, Barnes and Noble and lots more. They give you points for opening emails and visiting the website or taking surveys. When you get enough points you can redeem for gift certificates to stores like target, Old Navy and lots more. I have been doing my point for 2 years and have gotten more rewards than on my rewards card I use to buy everything.

  2. Step 2

Another one you should know about is upromise.com. If you shop on there website they put a percentage towards your kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews college savings. You can also add your credit and store cards to your account and when you buy certain products at the store they will put a % to your kid’s education. If you eat at certain restaurants they put a % of that away. You can also load coupons to your store cards. The last bonus is you can take surveys for money that goes to your kid’s college savings. This is free money and if you have kids in your life you need to take advantage. I have been doing upromis for a year and love it. Both upromise and mypoints have restaurants.com that sells gift certificates for cheep and always has coupon codes to save 50%-80% off of that. Check it out.

  3. Step 3

Use mycoupons and keycodes to get coupon codes for your purchases. Go to the websites and type the store into the search engine and the codes that other member’s type in will come up. You can save on shipping or a percentage of your purchase. Use this with mypoint or upromise and purchase on your rewards credit card to make the most of your purchase.

  4. Step 4

Get free samples a great website I found is freestuffheadquerters.com. They have links that take you to the websites to get free stuff. You can also go directly to the manufactures website to find what samples they have. If you have kids sign up at gerber for coupons. They send them for years. Enfamil and similac for free formula samples and coupons. There are lots of websites like the one I mentioned above but I have not had time to look into them all.

  5. Step 5

Get free silver jewelry from freesilverjewelry.com. Just wait until the jewelry you want comes up and click on it. You do have to pay shipping. They make great gifts.

  6. Step 6

Don’t forget to visit your grocery stores websites to load coupons onto your store card. The only one I know that does this is Fry’s but I am sure others will fallow. Most grocery stores have printable coupons.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use your computer as a tool to save and make money. Keep looking for new ways to save.
  • Be careful a lot of free magazines require a paid subscription. It is usually in fine print. If something that is free asks for payment information don't do it. Also look out for free books and DVD's.
