If your insurance company doesn't honor your insurance policy or give you hard time to file an insurance claim, you can file complaints to bureau of insurance or insurance commissioner.

    You can file a complaint against your insurance company if they try to weasel out from their obligation to pay you for your loss, give you hard time to file an insurance claim or refuse to cover your insurance policy.

  2. Step 2

    You can file a complaint against your insurance company through insurance commissioner in your state. You can report your concern regarding their bad practice.

  3. Step 3

    Search for the insurance commissioner in your state to write about your problem with insurance company. They should be able to help you to resolve or assist you regarding complaint about services received from insurance company.

  4. Step 4

    The other place to file complaint against any bad business is better business bureau (BBB). You need to enter your zip code to find the BBB near you, and then you can file a complaint online from BBB website.
