Quick and Healthy Pork Chop Dinner
Quick and Healthy Pork Chop Dinner

This easy pork chop dinner recipe will have your family thinking you slaved in the kitchen all afternoon. Only you will know that it actually took about half an hour to get this meal from the fridge to the table!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • pork chops
  • potatoes
  • frozen broccoli
  • butter
  • seasoned salt
  • salt
  • pepper
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  1. Step 1

Put the frozen broccoli into a large pot. Add about 1/2 c. water and set over high heat to boil.

  2. Step 2

Scrub your potatoes well. Prick all over with a fork. Put directly in your microwave. 4 - 6 potatoes should take about 10 minutes on high power.

  3. Step 3

Next, remove your pork chops from the package and rinse. Season with seasoned salt and a little pepper. Put under the broiler and check every 5 or so minutes until done. The chops on average take about 10 - 15 minutes, but it really depends on your broiler, so keep checking!

  4. Step 4

Once the broccoli is boils, drain the water and set aside. You want to remove it from the heat while it is crisp tender and still bright green.

  5. Step 5

Remove the baked potatoes from the microwave and poke with a fork to make sure they are soft the whole way through. Put one baked potato on each plate and cut in half. Add butter, salt and pepper to taste. Put a large scoop of broccoli on each potato and top with a generous helping of cheddar cheese.

  6. Step 6

Add a pork chop to each plate and you are done! A healthy and satisfying meal that is simple enough to please all picky eaters. Enjoy!
