Things You'll Need:
- Pen and Paper for listing of future articles and ideas
- Access to books at a library, old magazines around the house
- ability to use basic search engines online
-
Step 1
First thing is list your hobbies and likes and dislikes so that you know what direction to go in. Select a most common subject on your list. For example, if you have an interest in cars, you would want to research cars. Writing articles about something that interest you will be much easier to do. You must keep yourself entertained to capture your audience. If you enjoyed writing it then the chances are that your readers will enjoy to and remember you must educate yourself first and then others.
-
Step 2
Now that you have chosen a topic or mutiple topics, you must began your research. Gather magazines that are of interest to you and in relation to your topic. There are alot of car magazines that give you simple instructions to repair vehicles or design them, paint them and even do some body work. You can research these topics at libraries and through common search engines. You may want to look for simple but common topics like "How to change spark plugs on a Mitsibishi Eclipse". Then educate yourself once you are confident that you know the steps you will be able to write an article on this topic yourself.
-
Step 3
When choosing to write articles that have already been written in a book, magazine or online. Remember that the article must be written in your own words because mostly all articles and stories have a copyright that prevents you from duplicating them in their exact words. Once you find how easy that this process is you will be able to think of more and more articles and will soon be on your way to ehow success!
