How to Make Oatmeal Shampoo for Dogs

In this article I will show you how to make oatmeal shampoo for dogs.
Hey, even us humans could use this! Why not? Saves money, and is economical, natural, and safer then store bought with all of it's ingredients you can't even pronounce! Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • oatmeal
  • baking soda
  • warm water
  • 2 qt container

Instructions

    • 1

      First get a container that is 2 quarts, this give enough room to shake the ingredients together.

      Mix the following together:
      1 Cup ground oatmeal, you can grind this dry in a blender to a flour consistency.
      1 Cup baking soda
      1 quart warm water

    • 3

      Mix together in container by shaking vigorously until well blended.

    • 4

      That's it! Oatmeal shampoo, easy simple, and all natural! You could store this in the fridge if you have leftover.
      It's nice to be able to do this knowing what's in it, no harsh chemicals or preservatives, and a nice fuzzy coat for your furry baby, or a nice head of hair for you!

Tips & Warnings

  • You can add a few drops or so of baby shampoo if you want that nice scent and a little lather
