Instructions

    • 1

Take a balloon and place either a button or small coin inside it. Work it up to the top tip. I used a dime.
Just make sure it has smooth edges and isn't to large.

    • 2

Tie a loop around the dime. Tie it loose yet tight enough to keep the item in place. Leave a long tail of string. You can always cut of excess.

It's easier if you have someone to help you.

    • 3

Blow the balloon up slowly. Careful not to use to much force.
You want to make sure the tip is also expanding so it doesn't burst.

    • 4

Take the string and tie/tack it onto the ceiling.

I have vents in my ceilings and I tie them there. When the vents are going it's even better!

For a finishing touch add a ribbon if you like.

Tips & Warnings

  • Fishing line is best since you can't see it. I didn't have any at the moment so I used some heavy duty thread.

  • Make sure you hang high enough that people don't get tangled in fishing line and choke themselves.

Very neat idea! I could use this when it is cold and the temp makes all my balloons deflate.
