Think Positive Thoughts - Before you can begin to lose weight, you need to get yourself in the correct frame of mind. Negative thoughts can increase your stress levels, which can hamper your weight loss efforts. You can lose weight, but you must first believe in yourself.

Get Active - After your doctor gives you approval to begin training, start doing some cardio everyday. Begin slowly, you do not have to run 5 miles your first day. Grab your dog and walk around the block a few times. After a few days, you will actually look forward to your daily walks.

Stop Eating Out - Everyone knows that in order to lose weight quickly, you must eat better foods. Fast food is not good for you (but you already know this). Add fruits and vegetable to your diet. This will help to satisfy your hunger more effectively.

Be Patient - You did not gain your weight overnight and you will not lose it overnight. Have a little patience with yourself and you will make improvements every day.
