Thirty is often a turning point for women. Once a woman reaches the age of thirty, she will likely start to experience, or even increasingly experience, some visible effects of the natural aging process, such as fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin, tired-looking skin and weight gain. Get at least 30 minutes of exercise every day. Exercise helps you maintain your body in better shape, keeps your metabolism up, helps you look leaner and toned, gives you a healthy glow and often gives you more self-confidence.

Eat a balanced diet, drink lots of water and take vitamins. A balanced diet full of fruits, vegetables, proteins and whole grains will help keep your weight down, improve the appearance of your skin, keep you looking healthier and help your immune system stay strong. Try to limit your caffeine intake and drink green tea or herbal teas instead. Drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated and your skin looking better. Take vitamin supplements regularly to help your body get all the vitamins and minerals it needs.

Practice good skin care habits for mature skin. In addition to cleansing your skin twice a day, pay special attention to exfoliating and moisturizing your skin. Also use anti-wrinkle creams containing alpha lipoic acid or retinol before you go to sleep at night. Before you leave the house, don't forget your moisturizer and sunscreen with an SPF protection of 30 or higher. In fact, try to limit your exposure to the sun.

Keep your stress levels under control, as stress can cause premature aging. Participate in yoga, meditation, exercise classes or anything else that keeps you calmer, happier and less stressed.

Dress appropriately and well. To look more youthful, you don't necessarily have to dress younger than you are, but certainly do not dress as if you were older than you are. Dress your age but in high quality clothes that fit you well, and let your personality shine through. Don't be afraid to dress creatively and elegantly.

Live your life passionately, enthusiastically and with a sense of humor. People who enjoy life and what they're doing come across as younger, more vibrant people. People like being around people like that.
