Step 1
Look for grocery stores that honor double or bonus coupons. A grocery store that honors double or bonus coupons will take up to 2 times the face value of the coupon of the price of a product being purchased with that coupon. On the day that you plan to shop, call the store to ask if they honor double coupons (or offer similar coupon savings). Some stores will only increase the coupon face value up to $0.50 or $1.00, but it still results in added savings for you.

Step 2
Shop at dollar stores… and use coupons! Dollar stores can be a good place to find shampoo and conditioner, cleaning products, trash bags, food storage containers, and snack foods, teas, and other dry goods for a fraction of the price that you would pay at other stores. You’ll often find the same or similar products at the same or similar quality for up to 50 – 70% less than the regular price that you would pay in a grocery store. Call ahead of time to ask if your local dollar store accepts coupons before you head out to shop.

Step 3
Look for manufacturer coupons online. Visit the websites of your favorite products to look for coupons and special offers. This can be a great way to find savings on groceries, diapers, personal care products, and stationery. Look for new products to come onto the market, as manufacturers are often eager to have customers try the new product and may offer free samples or coupons. Good luck, and happy shopping!
