Shrimp scampi is one of the easiest seafoods to prepare.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons white wine
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika
  • 3/4 lb. cooked shrimp
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  1. Step 1

Chop garlic cloves into desired small or fine pieces. Mix garlic in pan with oil. Cook on high until you can smell the scent of the garlic, but just before it browns. Stir ingredients while cooking.

  2. Step 2

Mix in white wine and paprika. Cook on high 5 minutes. Continue to stir ingredients while mixing in the wine and paprika.

  3. Step 3

Add lemon juice and salt. Continue to cook on high for another 5 minutes. The sauce should begin to thicken. Continue to stir the ingredients as the sauce begins to thicken. It may take a little more or less time.

  4. Step 4

Add shrimp and stir to cover shrimp with the sauce. Cook until shrimp is hot but do not overcook.

  5. Step 5

Place the shrimp in a small au gratin-type dish or on a small plate. Cover with the scampi sauce. This is great to serve as an appetizer or as the main course in a meal.
