Love marinara? Here are 7 meals you can cook using your favorite sauce. One for every day of the week!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • marinara sauce
  • eggplant
  • ground beef
  • kidney beans
  • chili powder/chili seasoning
  • canned chopped clams
  • pesto
  • chicken broth
  • chicken
  • frozen mixed veggies
  • potatoes
  • shredded mozzarella
  • frozen/homeade meatballs
  • boxed/homeade mac-n-cheese
  • ziti
  • grated parmesan cheese
  1. Step 1

    BAKED ZITI- you can add meatballs or not. Put cooked ziti in baking pan, add marinara and mini meatballs(if desired). Mix together with shredded mozarella cheese and top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for aobut 40 minutes.

    SAUCY TATERS- bake potatoes at 350 degrees for an hour. Split potato and add marinara and shredded mozzarella cheese. Put the taters back in the oven until the cheese is melted.

    CHILI- Cook ground beef until brown. Drain grease. Add marinara sauce and drained kidney beans. Stir in chili poweder (to taste) or chili seasonings to sauce mixture. Cook over medium heat covered for 20 minutes or till the beans are cooked through.

    SOUP- In a medium saucepan, add marinara, can of chicken broth, chopped and cooked chicken, and bag of frozen vegges. Cover and cook on medium till veggies are cooked through.

    CLAM SAUCE- Put a tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan. On medium heat, add chopped, canned clams and saute. Add marinara sauce a small amount of pesto. Heat the sauce through and serve over spaghetti.

    MARVELOUS MAC-N-CHEESE- Prepare your mac-n-cheese. In a sauce pan, heat your marinara sauce. If you are using frozen meatballs, heat them through in the oven. If you are making them by hand, make them small -"minis". When your meatballs are fully cooked, add them to your sauce. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes. Pour over your mac-n-cheese and eat!

    EGGPLANT- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut your eggplants into slices. Bread your eggplant. In a baking dish, layer breaded eggplant slices, marinara, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Top with marinara, shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese. Cover and bake till eggplant is cooked through.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add any of your favorite meats, veggies, or seasoning to any of these!
