Water is one of the best acid reflux remedies

You can use acid reflux home remedies to ease your symptoms from this condition. The discomforts of acid reflux can be extremely bothersome. But you can get relief by making a few lifestyle changes and using healthy foods, and natural products as acid reflux home remedies.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Drink water regularly. This will help dilute stomach acid and wash away other stomach fluids that might otherwise work its way back up to the esophagus and cause irritation. Drink 1-2 glasses of water after eating a meal.

  2. Step 2

Use apple cider vinegar to keep acid reflux under control. The acid in the apple cider vinegar counteracts the acid in the stomach, which makes it easier for the body to properly digest food. Drink 3 teaspoons of pure apple cider vinegar. If you can't stand the taste, you can add a little warm water. This is one of the best acid reflux home remedies because it can ease the most severe attacks of acid reflux, and prevent future attacks.

  3. Step 3

Snack on almonds. Almonds are one of the most effective acid reflux home remedies. Be sure to thoroughly chew them. For best results, eat some almonds first thing in the morning, and immediately after meals.

  4. Step 4

Drink chamomile tea. It has very soothing properties and can ease the discomfort from acid reflux. Be sure to slowly sip the tea. Don't make drink it extremely hot or cold. Instead, it should be luke warm.

  5. Step 5

Eat lots of apples. Apples can reduce the effects of acid reflux. Eat the apples after meals. Be sure to completely chew them to prevent further irritating your esophagus.

  6. Step 6

Limit your intake of foods that can cause acid reflux. That includes fried, greasy, and spicy foods. Carbonated drinks and certain sedatives, and anti-depressants can also lead to acid reflux. Smoking and alcohol are also triggers.
