How to Hire a Manager in Sims 2: Open for Business

The Sims 2: Open for Business is a video game for the PC or Mac computers. You run a business, starting from the beginning and moving forward through all the tasks it takes to be successful. Hiring employees and managers is a vital part of the game play. These Sims will help you maintain and develop your business while you are watching closely as your profits come in.

Hire employees. Once your business is starting to bloom, you will need extra help to maintain your business. You can hire employees by opening your in-game telephone or computer. By selecting "Business" and then "Hire Employees," you will see a range of options.

Read the Sims profiles. These include skills, qualifications and the starting pay that they require. Once you find the Sim you wish to hire, choose the "Hire Sim" option. You may also build a substantial relationship with customers and be able to hire them as well. However, your relationship with these Sims must be high and in good standing.

Hire a manager. Managers are required to run the business in your absence. You must have employees before you can promote them to a manager. You will only be able to promote an employee to manager with a rating of Five Badge Ranks. Therefore, only an employee who has substantial skills as a worker can be promoted to a manager.
