This is an east step by step foolproff way to make excellent gravy thats fat free!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A nice cut of meat, rump roast is best, a dutch oven(thats a three to six qaurt pot with a lid), one full ice tray and a table spoon.
  1. Step 1

The first thing you want to do is buy the proper piece of meat. I recommend a five pound rump roast. Then you put about a tablespoon of Ovile oil in the pot. And then we "brown the meat" which simply means turning the flame up high and moving the meat around the pot ontill it is brown on all sides.

  2. Step 2

After browning the meat, youll want to leave it in the pot on the side with the most fat, turn the flame as low as you can and put on the lid. Let the meat cook for about 45 minutes a pound. When the meat is ready remove it from the pot.

  3. Step 3

After removing the meat from the pot wait about 10 minutes and add a cup of water. Then empty the whole trey of ice cubes into the pot. After a little while youll see the fat has risen to the top in the pot. Then you take your tablespoon and skim the top of the gravy to remove the fat. After you have done that you add a teaspoon of baking soda, a cap full of gravymaster and boil. Use a wire wisk to thicken it up while cooking. Let sit for 5 minutes and your done!
