Things You'll Need:
- A computer running a Windows Operating System.

Step 1
Locate the "My Computer" icon it may be on your Desktop if not click the "Start" button to find the "My Computer" icon. After you have located the icon right-click on it and select properties.

After this if you are running Windows 95,98,98 SE, NT, 2000, ME or XP then you will need to select the tab that is labeled "Hardware" then click the button labeled "Device Manager". If you are running Windows Vista you will need to select "Device Manager" from the left windows pane.

After the device manager is open locate the device you want to edit the driver on and right-click it, and select properties. A window will appear simply select the tab labeled "Driver"

If you click the button labeled "Driver Details" it will list the driver file in use and details about the file.
To change the driver click "Update Driver" you can then have it automatically look for a new driver or you can tell it where to look for the new driver.
On Windows XP and Windows Vista if you update a driver and it does not go as planned do not worry all you need to do is select the button labeled "Roll Back Driver" and the computer will install the previously used driver.
If you would like to remove the driver from the device select the button labeled "Uninstall"
