Depending on the shape of your pinata, they can be exceedingly tricky to make, here are the steps to create a bike shaped pinata.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 3 Cups Water
  • Newspaper cut in 1 Inch Strips
  • String
  • Balloons (Long and Skinny)
  1. Step 1

Mix flour and water to create a paste.

  2. Step 2

Inflate and tie 7 balloons to act as each of these different parts:
    2 for the wheels
    1 for handlebars
    2 for horizontal bars
    2 for vertical bars

  3. Step 3

Bend and twist the ends of each wheel balloon together to create circles.

  4. Step 4

Dip the newspaper strips in the flour/water mixture and layer them on each balloon, completely covering each except for a small hole at the top. Do this three times. If you like you can dry the balloons by hanging them from the string

  5. Step 5

Pop and remove the balloon inside each piece and fill with candy or prizes.

  6. Step 6

Connect the pieces to form a bike shape with a final layer of newspaper across all the joints.

  7. Step 7

Paint and hang for total (bike) party fun!

Tips & Warnings
  • This method can be applied to any object you wish to make
  • Don't go overboard with the flour/water mixture, it gets messy
  • Always strike a pinata with caution!
