The wedding flowers can cost thousands of dollars between the decorations at the church, the reception and the wedding bouquets. Creating your own wedding bouquets for that special day does not mean you are being cheap, just frugal.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Paper Roses
  • Floral Tape
  • Satin Ribbon
  1. Step 1

Gather the paper roses. Grasp the stems of the paper roses (usually they come in bundles) and keep adding bundles until the wedding bouquet reaches the size perfect for your wedding bouquet.

  2. Step 2

Tape the stems. After gathering the stems together, start the floral tape at the top of the bunch and begin rotating the wedding bouquet. The tape will spiral around the stem. You should stretch the floral tape slightly as you rotate the bouquet. As the wedding bouquet spins, the tape should be fed to the bottom of the stems and then back up to the root of the paper roses.

  3. Step 3

Finish with a satin bow. After you have finished taping the stems of the wedding bouquet, you will need to give the wedding bouquet a finished look. Cut a piece of the satin ribbon from the spool and tie a satin ribbon bow around the stem of the wedding bouquet.

Tips & Warnings
  • Silk flowers can also be used for the wedding bouquets.
  • Using more than one flower color can change up the look of the wedding bouquets.
