For many men there is no bigger accomplishment than increasing the size of the bicep. Bigger bicep muscles are attainable in a short amount of time with the right bicep exercises.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Free Weights
  • Protein Powder
  • Creatine Powder
  • Carbohydrate Powder
  1. Step 1

Add protein before the workout. The key to building bigger muscles is feeding the muscle as you work the muscle. Protein is the fuel of the muscle. Protein shakes taken before your workout with creatine is the best food for the muscle.

  2. Step 2

Work the muscle with free weights. Working the bicep with free weights requires more muscles and control than stabilized machine weights.

  3. Step 3

Confuse the muscle. There is no reason to complete the same workout more than once in a week's time. Muscle confusion is the key to building more bicep muscle than you ever thought possible. The bicep needs to be worked every other day and maxed out in every bicep working session.

  4. Step 4

Feed the muscle with targeted protein. After the workout you need to feed the muscle again. This feeding is a little different than the first feeding. This time the bicep building protein shake needs to leave the creatine behind; replacing the creatine with carbohydrates. Building bigger biceps requires moving the protein into the muscle faster. The carbohydrates added to the protein shakes speeds up the movement of protein into the muscle.
