Planning a trip to San Francisco, then plan to spend some extra time seeing some of the free attractions while you are there!

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    While you are in San Francisco you will definitely want to see the more popular attractions like the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square, which are all free to see.

  2. Step 2

    Visit a one of a number of the many museums in San Francisco which offer free admission. These include the Cable Car Museum, the Museo Italo Americano, the Museum of Anthropology and the Fire Department Musum.

  3. Step 3

    There are also a couple of botanical gardens which offer free admission. These are Yerba Bueno Gardens and the San Francisco Botanical Garden. Both great sites to see along with the Sutro Baths.

  4. Step 4

    You may also want to take a walking tour and enjoy some of the city's great architecture. They Erlanger House was built in 1916. The Hallidie Building dates back to 1918 and the Livermore House 1917.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep in mind you can buy a city pass and save money on entrance to the top attractions and meals at top restaurants.
