Win or at the very least not lose all your money at the casino's. If you stick to this then hitting the slots wont break your wallet every time.

Stick to this plan and you should come out ahead. When I go to Foxwoods or Mohegan Suns in Connecticut I use this plan. I go with about $200 bucks all in 20's.

Find a machine that's talking to you. It might be saying "sit here I want to give you money" or "I will be good to you" or "say goodbye to your rent money"

Put 20 bucks in and play, ok now this is where strategy comes into play. If you don't win with 20 bucks walk away no matter what the machine says to you. Find another machine and repeat till you find that one is lose. Also make sure you are playing max bet, max bets have better odds while lower bets have bad odds.

If you do win and you start to make a profit keep to this strategy. Keep track of the top amount that you have won, if you ever get to 50% of your top winnings for that machine cash out, don't keep playing hoping it will get lose again. Take the money and divide it in half and put one half back into your playing cash and half back into your take home cash. Don't touch your take home cash, save it for next time at the casino's. Example if you turned your $20 into $300 and start losing you must cash out at $150 and walk away. Take $75 and put it back into your play money and put $75 in your take home.

4 out of 5 times I leave the casino with extra money than when I left. When I don't win they don't take all my money.

Tips & Warnings
Go on Friday's! I feel slots are lose on that day. Don't stay passed midnight, you car will turn back into a pumpkin. Casinos rely on you losing all you money, if you stay long enough. When I play slots its only on Fridays. I play other games on other days.
Don't play with more than you can afford to lose. When I go to play I plan on leaving the money I take at the casino, that way I don't stress out about losing money I couldn't lose.

Sounds like a good system! Your best advice is where you say to never play with more than you can afford to lose. People who follow that will continue to have fun, whereas crossing the line into urgently needed pay-the-bills money makes for chaos. -
