Instructions

      fancy martini

Why not invite a couple friends over to help you "dismantle" Christmas (so what if it's JULY!?!)? They will be so surprised to find you are serving up fruit with your vegetable platter and dip! It doesn't take a lot of effort, money or brains to pull this off, either! Set aside a few of your festive shooter/shot or martini glasses and invite your favorite friends to "drop" by for a few minutes.

When your friends arrive, hopefully you'll already have tried a couple of these "wonders." To whip up a pitcher to start your first martini, get a 1 liter bottle of Master of Mixes "Sour Apple Martini" mixer from the grocery store.

      your choice

Get a bottle of vodka, plain, ordinary, vodka of your choice. The mixer calls for 3 parts mixer to 2 parts vodka. Unless you want to go "strong" adding one part to one part. (I wouldn't recommend this 'til the end of the get together)!

      shaken, not stirred

Mix the two (or one) parts vodka to three (or one) part mixer in a shaker filled with ice, and pour into your friends' shooter or martini glass. Enjoy responsibly. Get your friends to help you with whatever chores you need done, and then get them home with designated drivers or blow up an air mattress and let them spend the night as you continue to polish off this fantastic drink, one pitcher at a time!
