HOW MUCH? Well, it really depends. It's a very spicy and hot herb. Taking the capsules is much easier, while drinking it is not for the faint of heart. CAPSULES: You should consume 1-3 pills a day. LIQUID: You should add about a teaspoon per glass. Start with one glass per day until you get used to it.

WEIGHT LOSS: Cayenne pepper alone will not make you see the results of weight loss on it's own. You must maintain a HEALTHY diet, exercise on regular basis (3-5 days per week) and you must consume water and less calories. on 12/16/2009 I truly believe that cayenne--and other pepper spices--can help us lose weight. I found a wonderful supplement from Now Vitamins (the cheap brand!) called, "Cool Mint Cayenne." You'd never know it contained a lot of hot spice--you swallow it and feel nothing. But if you take it at night before going to bed, within a week, you'll lose a few pounds without even trying!

on 5/26/2009 I have a warm cup of Cayenne in water with lemon and a little honey every morning and I have lost weight effortless. I did not diet or do any strenulous exercise other than my usually walking, resistance and stretching. And my skin is absolutely beautiful. I contribute all this to drinking warm Cayenne water. But it has other health benefits as well. It lowers cholesteral. Maintains normal Blood Pressure. I've read that it stops heart attacks on the spot. Cayenne is good for releaving cold symptoms, asthma, rhumatism, I can go on and on with the list of benefits cayenne pepper has. Some people may not be able to tolerate the heat impact it has. But I love hot and spicy so Cayenne is great for me. Anyway, it wouldn't hurt for you to try.
