You need to understand the life of the German roach, he breaths, eats and reproduces at an alarming rate. Depending on where he lives determines the way you treat. The German roach is close to the food source within 10 feet most likely. Left untreated the whole house will be infested in a very short period.

When you discover a German roach infestation then the sooner you treat the sooner you eliminate the problem. There are some procedures to follow.

  • The tools needed are inspiration, flashlight, and sticky traps or baits.
  1. Step 1

If you can isolate the problem, another words try and determine if that is the only area where the infestation is. This can best be done with a flash light. Use the flash light and make a through inspection of all cabinets, cracks, crevices, closets, medicine cabinets, even the garage. Mark down or remember those areas where an infestation or droppings were found. Your job will be easier if you only have the one area. If not then you do have your work cut out for you.

Grab the old tank type vacuum cleaner or wet and dry vacuum cleaner in one hand and the flashlight in the other and begin to suck up the problem. Vacuum all dropping and dead roaches you can see or find. This is very important it is one of the only ways you will be able to determine if you were successful in the treatment or elimination of German roaches.
