Hate getting kool-aid or other stains on your kitchen countertop? Here is an easy way you can get rid of them.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Once you have your washcloth, baking soda and water the first thing you will do to get rid of those stains on your counter top is sprinkle baking soda on the stained area of your countertop. (generally I will cover the stain. For large stains you may want to clean it in sections)

  2. Step 2

Next, get a washcloth and wet it with warm water. Lightly wring out the wash cloth. Wrap the wet washcloth over your hand (as if it were a mitten) While holding the washcloth, using the pressure of your finger tips rub the baking soda into the stain as you watch it disappear.

  3. Step 3

Using a fresh clean washcloth to get up the excess baking soda as it tends to become chalky if not completely wiped up. I use a surface cleaning spray and paper towel to get the remaining baking soda removed.
