This is a healthy recipe for honey mustard vinaigrette. It is creamy without using mayo and goes great with chicken strips or salad. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 2 tbsp. sweet hot mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic, minced
  • 1/8 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

      Whisk together in medium-size bowl the sweet hot mustard, garlic, apple cider vinegar and honey. Slowly drizzle olive oil into honey mustard mixture while whisking (if you whisk the olive oil in too fast or put too much in at once it will not blend with the honey mustard mixture or get creamy). The honey mixture should be creamy and well mixed.

      Season to taste with salt and pepper.

      This is best used within 3 days.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you add fresh herbs, this makes a great sauce for grilled or roasted chicken.

  • Do not add too much oil.
