When you lay your baby down do they just lay there and cry and you have no idea what to do. Babies tend to cry and you never know why they are crying. But there are several way to calm your baby down.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • blankets
  • music
  • your voice
  • bottle with milk
  • energy
  • possibly car/stroller
  • pacifier
  1. Step 1

    * Try bouncing them on your leg.
    * Reading them a story.
    * Singing a son to them.
    * Letting them listen to music on a music box.
    * Giving them a bottle.
    * Rocking the baby.
    * Just talk to the baby.
    * Give them a warm bath.
    * Change their diaper often.
    * Rubbing their chest lightly.
    * Rubbing baby powder on their back my sooth them.

  2. Step 2

    * Check their bodies for rashes of any kind.
    * Lay the baby down to sleep.
    * Give the baby a pacifier.
    * Try letting them suck on your finger.

  3. Step 3

    * Lay the baby down to try to sleep.
    * Take your baby for a walk around the house.
    * Take your baby for a short but soothing car ride.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure to keep everything around you and the baby very calm.
  • Sometimes that baby just need to cry it out.
