Things You'll Need:
- bananas
- baby bowl
- baby spoon
- fork
-
Step 1
Wait till the banana is ripe with lots of brown spots, but still a lot of yellow too. I love using these types of bananas for baby food because babies don't mind bananas that are a little over ripe, and they are easier to mash, but at the same time they don't go to waste.
-
Step 2
Peel the banana and break into smaller pieces, putting the pieces in a baby bowl.
-
Step 3
With a fork, mash the banana so there are not large pieces. You may have to go over it a few times to get the banana mashed enough. Note that if your feeding a baby 6-8 months old, you may need to blend the banana to make the banana mixture smoother, but judge according to what your baby can handle.
-
Step 4
Using a baby spoon, feed your baby the mashed banana. Yummy!
