Catch Stream Trout With Spinners
Catch Stream Trout With Spinners

I love stream trout fishing and especially spinner fishing for trout. This is my ehow on how to catch more trout with spinners.
Good Fishing!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Spin fishing rod
  • spinner baits
  1. Step 1

Pick spinner baits that are the size and are similar to bait fish in the stream.

  2. Step 2

Too much flash may spook wary trout. On bright sunny days go with gold or darker blades. On overcast days go with silver or white blades but try all if nothing is working.

  3. Step 3

Work up stream. Work the pool's tail end as soon as you can reach it. Then move slowly and quietly into the pool to work the upper ends

  4. Step 4

Do not let the spinner drop to bottom it may hang. Keep it moving and vary the speed some like a real fish swims.

  5. Step 5

Be ready for a quick strike as trout are really aggressive.

  6. Step 6

Handle trout gently if you are going to release. Trout rarely swallow spinners so easy to get them released.
