Step 1
Options and Settings IconsFrom the main Home Screen, go to the Options section, which is usually represented with the icon of a wrench. If you don't see it on the desktop, it may be in Settings, which looks like interlocked gears coming out of a file folder.
-
Step 2
You should see a list of words in Options beginning with "Advanced Options". Scroll down until you have highlighted "Screen/Keyboard" and click on that line.
-
Step 3
You should see two columns of words in Screen/Keyboard, beginning with "Font Family" flush left, and the settings for those features flush right. Select "LED Coverage Indicator". This may be in the second section down, after a separator line.
-
Step 4
Click on the word "On", and scroll to move your selection to the word "Off".
-
Step 5
Retrace your steps back to the Home Screen by hitting the Escape key. Your new option, and your sanity is saved!
