How to Make the Perfect Affordable Valentine's Day Floral Layout

Even with our current economy it is still possible to do something simple, affordable and thoughtful for a loved one on Valentine's Day. It can be used in a romantic setting or as a fun casual setting. It is also great as take home party favors. This floral arrangement/layout is a twist on the traditional Valentine's Day bouquet and a thoughtful way to put any area of your house into the Valentine's Day spirit!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Dozen roses
  • Dozen single flower vases (bud vases)
  • Construction paper or index cards
  • Ribbon
  • Optional: Glass pebbles or small river rocks
  1. Step 1

    Trim roses to desired length. If handy, add glass pebbles to the bottom of each vase. Fill vases 3/4 full with water, then place each rose in a vase.

  2. Step 2

    Next write out the phrase "Happy Valentine's Day" on twelve cards. Write the word "Happy" on one card. Split up the word "Valentine's into ten different cards, and then write "Day on the last card.

    Take the ribbon and tie each card to each rose. If desired you can write little messages on the back of each card. Voila! Happy Valentine's Day to you all!
