Store closings hurt many people: the workers, those that depend in the store for products, etc. But it can also be a good thing: Deals!

1. Google it - Where are the Macys closing? Go online and find out. The low performing stores to shut are in Los Angeles; Colorado Springs and Westminster, Colo.; West Palm Beach, Fla.; Hawaii; Indianapolis; Brooklyn Center, Minn.; St. Louis; Natrona Heights and West Mifflin, Pa.; and Nashville, Tenn. Are these stores in your area? Go there to get the sales!

2. Check it out - If any of the Macys store are near you go there as soon as you can! Many times the discounts get bigger and bigger as the end nears. Even if you're not ready to shop, go by the store to see what's on sale.

3. Get your gifts now! - Who says you have to wait for a special time to shop. Go to Macys before it closes and get gifts for every occasion (and when you can't afford to get gifts on those "special" days they wouldn't mind as much). Get something for grandma, your kids (before the back to school craziness) or something for yourself at a discounted rate.
