One of the easiest upgrades to your bathroom is replacing the flooring. You basically only have a few options when replacing your bathroom floor. You can either choose tile, marble or linoleum. Once you get the square footage, lay out all the tiles individually to make sure you have the right fit. For those places that are hard to get to make sure you use butcher paper to create a template and then use the template to cut out that particular piece of linoleum. You want to make sure you have all the pieces pre-cut before you start gluing things to the floor.

From here you need to check the condition of the floor to make sure if it's completely level. Use a level stick to check that and then clean debris from the floor using a broom and get any old glue off of the floor with a scraper. You want to make sure the floor is as clean as possible before you start applying glue.

From here start gluing the tile pieces to the floor. Make sure that you work from the farthest point inside till you work your way to the door. The reason for this is because you want to allow the glue to set before anyone steps on the tile. Most of the tiles will have a glue adhesive, however you want to put additional glue to the floor to make sure it sticks.
