Do you know the difference between a twist and a wedge? Not a problem. Follow these instructions for perfect lemon wedges every time. I use a lemon as an example here, but the same applies to limes and oranges as well

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sharp Kitchen Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • A Lemon
  1. Step 1

Using a sharp kitchen knife and cutting board, cut off the nub end on each side of the lemon. Place the lemon right side up, so one of the cut ends is flat on the cutting board.

  2. Step 2

Cut the fruit in half lengthwise

  3. Step 3

Cut the halves in half lengthwise once more, so the lemon is cut into four quarters.

  4. Step 4

Last Step ... slice the quartered pieces in half horizontally.

  5. Step 5

When you hold the lemon be sure to slightly curl your fingertips, just in case the knife slips. Also remember when you are cutting oranges, you may have to slice off a lot more of the ends than you would for lemons or limes.
