A bridal purse is an important bridal accessory because it can really change how your wedding dress looks. The wrong bridal purse will stick out and look awkward while the right bridal purse can make your dress look great. Here's a few tips on choosing the right one.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bridal dress
  • Color swatches
  1. Step 1

Check out all the bridal purses you can find online so you get a sense of what styles are available. This way you can choose the right bridal purse and not feel limited in options.

  2. Step 2

Print pictures of the bridal purses you are interested in buying, or cut them out of magazines. Then compare them to your wedding dress either in the picture or by holding the purse up to the dress. You have to see how it looks in order to make a good decision.

  3. Step 3

Ask a few friends what they think about the bridal purse. Show them several bridal purses, instead of just one and try to get their real reaction. If you can, find someone who will be straight forward and honest about their opinion.

  4. Step 4

Order your bridal purses well before the wedding so you have time to compare them to your dress in person. Make sure you leave enough time to send the bridal purse back and receive a new one. This is usually going to be at least two weeks.
