It's that time of year again when everyone changes their hair!! Some of us aren't as interested in a permanent change, and that's where Kool-Aid comes in. If you're looking for a crazy color for 3 months, or just a week, this is PERFECT for you!!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 - UNSWEETENED Kool-Aid Packets (Color is your choice)
  • Bowl
  • Conditioner
  • Plastic Wrap
  1. Step 1

♥ ← Using your bowl, mix conditioner with your two packets of unsweetened Kool-Aid. You will use approx. twice the amount it usually takes to condition your hair. → ♥

  2. Step 2

♥ ← Once you've used the entire mixture - or enough to saturate your hair completely - pile it on top of your head, and wrap with plastic wrap. → ♥

  3. Step 3

♥ ← Leave mixture on as long as you'd like. The longer you leave it on, the longer it will stay in. I'd suggest at least an hour.. more if you're patient enough! → ♥

  4. Step 4

♥ ← Now you need to rinse ! ! I suggest leaning over your tub and only putting your head under the water. This helps to not stain your body with Kool-Aid while standing in the shower. You're finished rinsing once the water runs clear. → ♥

  5. Step 5

♥ ← Blow or air dry and style as usual. Kool-Aid may be applied again or as often as you like to achieve the correct color mix you're looking for. → ♥

    → ♥ ← ENJOY → ♥ ←

Tips & Warnings
  • Toothpaste will take Kool-Aid off of skin and hair easily
  • Using a detachable shower head is ideal
  • This works best on DRY hair.
  • Fine hair does not generally hold the color as long.
  • If your hair is black you will need to BLEACH it first
  • Red hair is very hard to dye
