How to Clean Your Computer Cookies in Internet Explorer
If your computer is running slowly, it could be a simple matter of cleaning your cookies from your browser. Cookies are files that are left over from different sites that you have visited on the Internet. If you do not clean your cookies once in awhile, your computer will run more slowly than it should.

Go to the Internet Explorer icon on your computer. It is on your desktop or in your Start menu. Right-click the icon and you will see a drop-down menu. Click on "Internet Properties." You can also access this drop-down menu when your browser is open by left-clicking on "Tools," and then clicking "Internet Options." Either one will take you to the same place.

Go to Browsing History and click "Delete" to open the Delete Browsing History menu. Select "Cookies" and "Temporary Internet Files" to delete all of your cookies. Select "History," unless you want to keep a history of the websites you visit; do not select "Passwords" if you save your passwords.
