Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 - 14 oz. bag of carmels
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk (5 oz)
  • 1 chocolate cake mix with pudding
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1.5 cups chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
  1. Step 1

    Melt the carmels with 1/3 cup of the evaporated milk. Stir the mixture until it it smooth. Combine 1/3 cup of the evaporated milk, cake mix and butter, mixing it very well.

  2. Step 2

    Press one-half of the cake mixture into bottom of a greased pan, 9 by 13 inches in dimension. Bake it at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for six minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Sprinkle one cup of chocolate pieces and nuts over crust. Top the carmel mixture and make sure to spread it to the edges of the pan. Top with teaspoonfuls of remaining cake mixture and press gently into the carmel mixture. Sprinkle the remaining nuts, pressing lighting into the top.

  4. Step 4

    Bake the brownies at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes. Cool it slightly; refrigerate. Cut it into bars and serve.
