This shrimp cocktail has got a zesty zing to it and is absolutely delicious. It is a great hit at parties and fiestas! The recipe will make one large glass of cocktail. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 10 whole large shrimp or 15 whole small shrimp. (cooked)
  • Ketchup
  • Orange juice
  • 1/4 of a lime
  • Parsley
  • Hot sauce of choice
  • Avocado

Instructions

      Fill the glass half full with orange juice.

      Pour in 1/8 cup of katchup and mix it in well with orange juice.

    • 3

      Chop the parsley leaves into tiny pieces, about 3 table spoons are needed. Add the chopped parsley leaves to the mixture.

      Chop up onion into small pieces. You will need 3 table spoons. Add the onion to the cocktail.

      Add several drops of hot sauce. This is done to taste..if you like it spicy add more hot sauce. If you like less spice add less. Mix up the concoction well.

      Slice up the avocado into small pieces save 1/4 of the avocado for decoration. Add the small avocado pieces and the shrimp into the mixture until the glass is full.

      Cut the last 1/4 of the avocado into thin wedge slices and place in a flower shape on top of the cocktail. Squeeze the juice from the lime slice on top of the avocado wedges.

      Dig in and enjoy. MMMMMM!

Tips & Warnings

  • If you choose to use dried parsley let it sit in the mixture for 10 minutes before eating.
