Habits: Both Good And Bad
Habits: Both Good And Bad

Habits can be good or bad, but most habits we have aren't that good.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Patience
  • Maybe a friend to help you
  • Nail polish (optional)
  • Hair tie (optional)
  • Force
  1. Step 1

What are your habits? Picking your nose, chewing on your hair, sleeping with a night light, forgetting things, biting your nails? Identify those habits first.

  2. Step 2

Force yourself to stop. Tell yourself that you can do it. Continue telling yourself until it's in your brain.

  3. Step 3

If you bite your nails, paint them. The paint usually tastes horrible, and when you bite off the paint, you'll get a disgusting flavor in your mouth that will make you want to not bite your nails. It's a deterrant, in other words. (Men should use clear nail polish)

  4. Step 4

If you chew on your hair, wear it up. This will keep your hair out of your reach.

  5. Step 5

Repeat for 30 days. When I was younger, I slept with a night light. To get out of this habit, I forced myself to sleep without one for thirty days, and I never needed one again.

Tips & Warnings
  • It'll be difficult, but you can do it! Patience and force is key. Sometimes you'll need a friend to give you a little push or to help you, but you'll love the results.
