Turn a Web Page into a Picture
Turn a Web Page into a Picture

You want to add an image file of a web page to your presentation or even your eHow article. Just follow these easy steps to make an image out of a web page!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open your web browser.

  2. Step 2

Navigate to the web page that you want to turn into a picture.

  3. Step 3

Press Alt and Print Screen (PrtSc) at the same time. This will copy the image of the web page to your computer's clipboard. Note that you might find the Print Screen key to the right of F12 or to the right of the backspace key.

  4. Step 4

Open up a program (like Microsoft Paint) that can hold images. You can even use Microsoft Word if you want!

  5. Step 5

Press Ctrl-V (the Ctrl and the V keys at the same time). This will paste your image of the web page into your open program.

  6. Step 6

    Save the image.

  7. Step 7

You now have a file on your computer that contains a picture of a web page!

Tips & Warnings
  • When you press Alt-PrtSc, it copies your active window. Be sure that the window of the web page you want to copy is active.
