Websites, blogs, and e-zines has become the new way to communicate and write. With this, comes grace, class, and rules to go by. Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Website
  • Blog
  • A Direction
  • Creativity
  1. Step 1
    The Write Way

    The Write Way

BLOGS: When designing and writing a blog for business, focus on "one" subject area. If you have a writing blog then focus only on writing. Offer tips, contests, awards, and other fun things for your readers. Although, you are working to make money yourself, show your readers that you are there for them as well. If you want to share personal thoughts then make it separate from your writing blog. If you have a writing blog and then you share an interest in music, this may confuse readers as to what your blog is geared towards. Design a separate personal blog with all your likes from various areas. Link your personal blog to your business blog and then people can easily see your business side from your personal side.

  2. Step 2
    Online Friend

    Online Friend

BE A FRIEND: When having a blog or website, search other blogs and websites, and leave a comment. Link sites to your site that you find interesting. A lot of people want the linkage to be reciprocated, but you get nowhere with this. Link it because you want to and because you find their blogs and websites interesting. Simply tell them that you linked them and more than likely they will link you back!

E-ZINES: Online e-zines are the most popular online source of communicaton. If you write for e-zines, acknowledge your members. Leave comments and take the time to visit their blogs or websites if available on their profile.

  4. Step 4
    Award

    Award

AWARDS: Design your own blog or website awards. Think of something that you feel passionate about and design an award that celebrates that particular cause. This is a great way to advertise your business because they simply grab the award, upload it in their blog or website, and link it back to you!

  5. Step 5
    Bipolar Speaks

PROJECTS: Is there a cause that is very special to you? Start an awareness project. This is a great way to help those in need and you are being not only a good online friend, but a great citizen for your country and community. There is nothing more exciting than helping others.

  6. Step 6
    Helping Hand

    Helping Hand

HELPING HAND: A selfish blogger and business person gets nowhere. Granted, bloggers and site owners are there for their own personal healing and creativity. That's fine, but we need to sincerely reach out and acknowledge other bloggers and online members within our e-zine communities. It's the right thing to do - and for those who believe in Karma - what you put out will come back to you.

Tips & Warnings
  • Never play "games" online. If someone doesn't respond to your comment and link you, so what. Do these things because you want to, because you find their site interesting. Be the better person.
  • Never have more than three blogs or websites. Blogs and websites can be so addicting, I know, but to be honest, when people go to your profile and there are 10 blogs listed - where do you start?
  • Have a blog of the month spot within your blog or website. This allows others to gain advertisement as well and they will appreciate the gesture.
  • Join yahoo groups and other onine groups as to receive exposure. This is a great way to network and draw traffic to your sites.
