Everyone needs to protect themselves from potential attackers. There are some non-leathal weapons that you can use.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Extra bateries preferrably the rechargable kind.
  • Have the devises always on your body, even at home.
  1. Step 1

These non-leathal weapons include pepper spray, mace, tasers, stun guns, ear piercing alarms, and air blast alarms that can be heard for blocks. Be sure to check with the proper authorities to find out what types of non-leathal weapons can be used in your area, as stun guns and tasers are not legal in some areas.

  2. Step 2

These personal protection alarms are very inexpensive. You can pick up some of them from your local convenient or department store in your area. However, you can order them over the internet.

  3. Step 3

Some personal alarm systems are small enough to fit on a key chain or clip on your clothing. They work best if you keep them away from your wallet or purse, simply because if you are attacked these are usually the items the attacker wants.

Tips & Warnings
  • Once you receive your personal alarm system that you ordered, it is a good idea to install the batteries, and have them always turned on.
  • Have them easy to reach in case of such an emergency.
  • Always use rechargeable batteries, so that you will not be without your personal alarm system.
  • Some of these alarm systems are so loud that they could burst your eardrum, so be sure if you have this type that as soon as your attacker becomes startled that you at least cover your ears or run away if it is possible.
