Most ringworm infections occur in young children because of the close proximity to other students in their schools. If your child becomes infected, here are a few natural remedies you can try. First, clean the infected area with a somewhat drying shampoo like Head and Shoulders. This will keep the area clean and dry and slow the spread of the infection.

Next, crush some coriander leaves in a small bowl and sprinkle them onto the infected area. The juice that results from the crushing of the leaves is very effective in killing the fungus that causes ringworm.

Another thing you could try is to apply holy basil leaves to the area. Follow the same method as step 2 and just crush the leaves up into as small of pieces as you can. The juice from holy basil leaves should clear out your infection in just a few days.
