How to Transfer Data or Pics From the BlackBerry Storm 9500 to Your Computer or Laptop

Hook up your BlackBerry via USB to transfer your data.

Your BlackBerry Storm 9500 is not only a cell phone, but also a great digital and video camera. Shoot pictures and/or video from your BlackBerry, and transfer the media onto your computer to edit and distribute.

Things You'll Need

• Blackberry Curve 9500
• Desktop or Laptop

Instructions

1. Connect your BlackBerry to your computer via its USB cable. You can also connect to your computer using Bluetooth technology if you want a wireless connection. Either will work just fine. Use the one that you are more familiar with the first time.

2. Open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager from your computer. This is the software that came with your BlackBerry.

3. Click on "Media" and choose "Manage Pictures" from the three options you see: Manage Pictures, Manage Music and Manage Videos.

4. Locate "Folders" on the left side of the screen and click on it. Grab the pics that you want to move to your computer and drag and drop them into the appropriate folders.
