Things You'll Need:
- 1 cup rice
- 1.5 handfuls of thin, tiny egg noodles
- 2 cups or more of water
- salt
- 1/2 stick of butter or more

Step 1
Melt the butter in a pan and add the egg noodles. Brown the mix very, very lightly, monitoring it carefully to ensure that it doesn't burn, as it does extremely easily because of the butter. I would recommend keeping the temperature very low to prevent burning the mix.

Add the rice, water and salt to the mix after it is browned. Stir the ingredients well, to ensure they are uniformly mixed and well-heated.

Bring to a good, solid boil and then turn down the hear to let it simmer. Cover the rice pilaf for thirty to 45 minutes before serving.
