Getting your music from your PC to your Mac seems like it should be complicated, but it is really very simple.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A PC with iTunes Installed and a CD-R Drive
  • A Mac
  • Blank CD's
  1. Step 1

Open iTunes on your Windows based PC. Make a play list with the songs that you want to burn in it. Do this by dragging the songs into the new play list.

  2. Step 2

Use the 'Burn' button to burn your songs to a blank CD. You will be prompted to insert a CD by iTunes. If your play list is too long for one CD, you will be prompted to break the play list into multiple CD's. When you are done eject the disk.

  3. Step 3

Take the disk to your Mac, and insert it into the CD slot. iTunes will open automatically and you should be able to see the tracks on your CD.

  4. Step 4

Now things will vary based on your version and settings. Some will ask you if you want to import automatically. If so, simply choose to import automatically. If not select all of the songs in your CD's play list by using the 'Select All' option. Your songs will now make their way into your library.

Tips & Warnings
  • You may have to authorize the new machine if you have not used it before.
  • Don't violate DRM or copyrights please.
