This is an old recipe that has been passed down in my family of a delicious cake. I hope you enjoy it!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 butter recipe cake mix
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 3/4 cup cooking oil
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 tbs brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  1. Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix the cake mix, sugar, eggs, sour cream, cooking oil, pecans, and vanilla together in a large boil. Use a mixer on low speed to mix the batter.

  2. Step 2

Grease a tube pan and then pour half of the batter into it.

  3. Step 3

Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture onto the the batter in the tube pan. Try to sprinkle the mixture evenly over the entire tube of batter.

  4. Step 4

Pour the rest of the batter on top of the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture in the tube pan.

  5. Step 5

Bake the cake for one hour at 350 degrees. Let the cake cool once it is finished baking. Turn the cake upside down and release the cake onto a serving tray. Cut the cake into slices, serve, and enjoy!
