Get clothings that are suitable or flattering to your body type. I created suggestions for the first 4 body type. If you have a curvy body, get something that is tight on the waist or hip.

    If you are short:
    1. Wear monochrome color sets of clothes. (ex: baige pants, and tops)
    2. Wear at least 1/2 inch to 2 inch heels to add heights (even if you're not inot heels, 2 inch is bearable)

    4. Wear shirts that are waist length or longer.
    5. Avoid caprice to cut length.
    6. Choose pencil skirts that are knee length and wear heel boots or pumps.
    7. Wear V neck or scoop neck shirts to add length on neck.
    8. Wear waist length jackets.

    If you are tall:
    1. Wear caprice pants
    2. Wear belly length shirts.
    3. Wear flats
    4. Mixed color outfits. (ex. white shirt, blue jeans OR purple top, baige pants)
    5. Wear crew neck clothes.
    6. Wear horizontal strip shirts.
    7. Wear hip length jackets.

    If you are chubby/round body.
    1. Wear structure padded blazers (square, sharp angles etc)
    2. Wear light colors under, dark colors over.
    3. Get fitted jackets on the waist and shoulder.
    4. Wear long skirts.
    5. Wear heels.
    6. Wear satin clothing, avoid wool or knitted tops.
    7. Avoid round shape purses/bags.

    If you are skinny/bony
    1. Wear brighter color clothing.
    2. Wear flared skirts
    3. Wear round color shirts/jackets.
    4. Wear horizontal stripe tops.
    5. Wear knitted tops.
    6. Wear wool tops
    7. Wear layered clothings or layer them yourself.

  3. Step 3

Last but not least. Go to your closet and toss those clothes that are against your body type out the window and get get some that are flattering to you. You must be willing to give up the old you in order to see the more flattering new you. If you're worried, take it one step at a time.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add accessories to avoid having to purchase so many new clothing. (they can get pricy). Examples: ring, bracelets, earrings, belts, brooch, scarfs.
  • Buy clothing that are versatile rather than fashionable or hip so they last through different years and seasons. Examples: classic blue jeans, diamond stud earrings, white brooch, spring color scarfs, warm color scarfs, white/black/brown belts, silver clutch, black pumps.
  • Please be advise to experience according to your body type and avoid purchasing clothing/accessories itmes that are too flashy/fashionable. You want clothes that are long lasting and not just a one time through outfit. Save yourself some time and money this way too.
