Things You'll Need:
- lemons
- baking soda
- salt or sea salt
- water
-
Step 1
Laminate Counter-tops/Cutlery Boards-
Cut a whole lemon in half squeeze the lemon onto the counter-top, especially on any stains. On those hard to remove stains let the juice sit until you see the stain disappear. Then use the lemon as a scrubber working the juice all over the counter. Afterwards, rinse with warm water and dry the counter. Cutlery boards squeeze lemon onto the board, let it sit, rinse, and dry. -
Step 2
Copper Pots/Brass-
Cut a whole lemon in half and sprinkle with regular salt or sea salt on top of the lemon. Rub gently onto the copper squeezing lemon as you rub until the tarnish start to disappear. If the tarnish stops disappearing add more salt. Rinse with warm water and let it dry or I prefer to dry it. Do not use on brass plated only on solid brass. -
Step 3
White Clothes-
Mix 1/2 cup of lemon juice or use sliced lemons and one gallon of very hot water in a bucket. Add a few of your white clothes in the bucket let it soak overnight, depending on how bad your white clothes let it sit longer. If you use the slice lemons remove from bucket and then add clothes and all in the washing machine. Launder as usual. -
Step 4
Plastic Containers-
Squeeze lemon juice in the container add some baking soda. Then use the lemon as a scrubber working it into the container or let it sit overnight before scrubbing.
